Ronson has been doing Spoken Word from 2014 and has performed at Kingdom Arts, New Dimensions Ministries, The Abundant Life Assembly, The People's Cathedral, and many other churches across Barbados.
Ronson has shared the stage with Pastor John Yarde, Gozzy, Sirrah, Neesha Woods, Sis. Marshall, Promise and USA International Worship Leader Johnathan McReynolds, International Spoken Word Artists P4CM, i.e. Passion For Christ Movement where he collaborated with Marcus King and Raymond doing the piece, ``Kill it before it kills you”.
He's a member of The Redman's Village New Testament Church of God to which his mum Pastor Carmeta Small leads at that assembly and with his dad being an Evangelist it was embedded in his DNA from a very young age. He's Youth President, Men's Life Builders President, and M.O.R.E (Making Our Relationships Extravagant) Couple's Ministry at that local assembly with his wife. Nationally in New Testament Church of God he's the Assistant Youth Director.
This former national track and field athlete got an athletic scholarship to South Plains College in Levelland Texas and University of Texas at San Antonio in the USA where he graduated with associates and Bachelor's degrees in Multidisciplinary Studies. Afterwards he moved back to Barbados, got married, got a diploma in Supervisory Management at BIMAP and currently works at Chickmont Foods Limited as a Supervisor. He's now the Head Track and Field Coach of The Pacers Track Club.
For the past two years this man of God has been travelling extensively all across the length and breadth of Barbados releasing the rhema (spoken) word of God.
‘No More Tears’ is Paula’s fourth published book, which was launched in November 2016. Her other published books are: ‘Tears of Sacrifice’, ‘Portrait of Destiny’, and ‘Unmasking the Heart of a Single Woman.’ She has also produced, written and directed two Christmas musicals for a primary school. She also co-authored a new converts children’s booklet with Reverend Clinton Chisholm from Jamaica, which was released in December 2016.
Along with her gift for writing, Paula is a soloist, worship leader, teacher and songwriter. She has been a guest speaker at several singles ministries and Paula wants to see singles (both male and female) come to a place where they enjoy and embrace their singleness. She has a passion and desire to see Christian writers develop their talent and produce excellently written books. Consequently, this has led to her conducting special writing classes called ‘Born to Write.’ Paula is passionate about teaching and this is another gift she knew she had from a child, but God is only now creating the opportunities for this gift to be manifested. This year Paula plans to conduct one-day workshops on writing.
In 2016, God opened the door for Paula to work as a freelance writer and proofreader for the Nation Newspaper - a task she thoroughly enjoys.
Paula owns a small editing business called ‘Eagle’s Eye Editing Services’ and so far she has edited nine books along with other manuscripts. Editing and proofing is also something Paula is extremely passionate about; she believes if you are going to publish a book then you must make sure it is as error-free as possible. She lives by this maxim: Why settle for mediocrity when you can achieve excellence.
Darmedia is a graduate of the Eagles International Training Institute in Texas (EITI) and became a certified Dance Minister in 2010. She also successfully completed CXC Theatre Art.
Her love for the artform has also expanded into choreography. Darmedia has choreographed music videos for local gospel artistes including Promise the band, Neesha Woodz and Joel Brooks. She has also choreographed pieces for Praise Academy of Dance, Vessels of Honour Dance Ministry, Love and Faith Dance Ministry and several other dance groups and schools.
Currently, Darmedia teaches and choreographs for several individuals, groups and Primary schools across the Island and aspires to one day own a Dance Academy to help others discover their passion as she once did.
While attending community College Jaye was selected among thousands to the “Brightleaf Music Scholar” program to study short term among the greatest jazz teachers and musicians at Duke University. Upon leaving the scholar program, he went into full-time ministry as a worship pastor at a church in North Florida. It was there that he was encountered by the reality of intercession and wrote and released his first full- length solo album entitled “PRAY”. Though not in print anymore, that album set him on a journey that he hasn’t looked back from.
Jaye served as a full time worship leader/intercessor at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO for more than a decade as well as gave Direction to the Forerunner Music Academy at IHOPU. Since 2008 he has recorded /been featured on more than 20 albums on the Forerunner Music record label and has written and recorded with artists like, Misty Edwards, Cory Asbury, Davy Flowers, Justin Rizzo, Julie Meyer, Audra Lynn (Hardtke)Huff, Chandler Moore, Dante Bowe, Brandon Lake, Housefires, Michael Ketterer, Bri Babineaux, Dustin Smith, and many others. Some of his most popular co-writes are “Shekinah”, “Reason to Dance”, “Holy Ghost Parties” with Cory Asbury, “Only One”, “Song of Love”, “We Love your name”, “Belong to you” with Dustin Smith and Stephen McWhirter (formerly of IronBell Music, and most recently (2019) released a joint project with Chris Tofilon called “Together: LIVE worship from JTL studios” (Watershed Music 2019).
Today, Jaye and his wife Nayomi are the full time directors of a non-profit organization they started called Song of Hope Ministries, Inc which exists to take both the word of God, and the Songs of the Lord to both the church as well as those incarcerated. (Click for more info).
When asked what accomplishment makes him most proud, his response is “My family. I have the privilege being married to Nayomi, my best friend and the love of my life. She pushes me to want to be a great as people think I am at times. And she is the mother our three incredible children and son in law, Mahan (David), Justice, and Addison. My family is my greatest reward.”
